Paximadia is very popular throughout Greece as a semi-sweet cookie, commonly flavored with anise, orange or almond and topped with sesame. It is excellent with coffee, tea or steamed milk.
The Cretan Lent Rusk is perfect during Lent Season. In different regions of Greece there are other variations of Paximadia, which led to the creation of my own versions of these specialty Greek Cookies we call Pavlos Cookies.
